And Ze Snow Keeps Atbumblin' Down. . .

Okay crewmembers, here are the latest shots of Snowville. We got another 6 inches today and couldn't even get out of the yard to go to church. It was surprising to me that they even had it but I guess if Randy and Wally can get out, everyone can. The picture of dad and Cash shows the 3 foot tall drift right by the bridge where we turn to go out. Leroy finally scraped us out but if it blows tonight we are sunk. Dad didn't go to school on Friday, plus was let out last Monday early. He's getting used to 3-4 work days a week.
The Superbowl was great with NYC upsetting New England and the commercials were pretty good too. I loved the screaming squirrel and the guy who stuck battery cables onto his nipples and started his girlfriend's car. Very funny. . .
We had a great week last week, President Hinckley's funeral was awesome on Saturday. Dad & I shed a few tears and decided we want bagpipes at our gravesite services too. The dedication will be this coming weekend, I imagine with President Monson. Paul Harvey already announced that he was the new prophet but I don't think anything has been officially announced yet from SLC.
Jenna has been saving her money to get a piano one day and she was able to find one on Craig's list. It cost her the sum total of $300 and she's pretty proud of herself. Now she can teach piano lessons on a real piano. Blake has been working hard to meet deadlines and hopes the economy gets going soon. Speaking of that, what are you all going to do with your money? I hear it will be $800/person and $300/child. Hoorah! We'll pay for Hawaii or buy a couple of cows this spring which dad doesn't want to do.
Not much news from Jeff & Ash other than we're all supposed to check out his classroom blog. I have no idea how to get into it. Brett & Tara bought a brandnew Mac yesterday that cost about a buck 3.98. They are pretty excited, apparently this thing does windows and even vacuums the carpets. Stella was so excited she peed right in the middle of their bed!
Brandon & Anna are carrying on. Brandon had a nice birthday last Monday and thanks all of you for calling him. You all did call him didn't you? He's now 27 and his head expands daily to fit all his learnin' in. There is a new video on their website of Granty who is pretty adorable! Also Anna's previous work is flying her out to SLC in April to work for a couple of weeks. She's excited to see everyone again.
Jason & Sara continue on their business ventures and maybe you all could pipe down a little and believe in him. I know you've all warned him and he has listened but now the decision is up to him, so let him go and try, you all had to do some of the same things. It's all part of life and we don't want to rain on anyone's parade but thank you all for being so concerned.
By the way, I found a great website for emergency type food and supplies. It's called www.thereadystore.com and has great containers for water. They are collapsible and hold five gallons each for only $5.44 each. I got mine the other day and have them filled and downstairs. They are quite sturdy, with a handle and a spigot. Check it out, you city dwellers.
All the grandparents are fine, except for my dad who accidentally drove through his new garage door on Friday. Apparently his door opener had slipped on the floor and as he was fumbling around for it, he hit the gas. "Someone" must have bumped his door opener onto the floor because he would never do that, so I guess well believe in that little fairy tale for the time being.
We are all good and fine and doing well. Another week of work/school ahead of us all and we love you all tons and tons. Be good and keep us in the know of what you are doing! We love to hear from you and if you get a moment, call my dad, he's lonely and bored. 208-356-5697.
This is Paw. I have been getting a great workout shoveling snow (who needs athletic equipment?). You can see from the pictures that we had justabout two feet of snow drifted in the driveway.
The temple opens next Monday and I have been assigned to work at the front desk. I love that job because I get to visit so much with people when they come in. My regular assignments on Wednesday night will be doing initiatory an being escort for first-timers. I have heard there are some changes made in the ordinances. You'll have to find out about them yourselves.
Grandpa S. was supposed to be interviewed by Channel 6 news today (Sunday) but he called me and wanted me to get him out of it. He said he had done nothing note worthy in his life and he had worried about the interview all night. I got him out of it and he was relieved. I will be taking him to a doc appointment this week to get a little thing on his back removed. Other than that, he is doing very well.
Life is great and all of you make it even better. Thanks for all you do and the love and support you always show. I am so proud of all of you. It is great to see each of you being so much better than your ole' man. The family is in good hands.
Ciao for now,
Padre
